The i3+ is an excellent option for those looking for a an automated, hands-free cleaning experience but are willing to manually empty the dustbin of the robot after it has filled up.
Both robots excel at cleaning up surface debris from hard floors and carpets, and they're very adept at moving around furniture and other obstacles. iAdapt navigation software makes a smart map of your home to assist the i3+ to navigate and clean efficiently. However unlike the i7+ and other top-rated robots that we evaluated the i3+ does not have obstacle-avoidance capabilities and therefore it could get stuck on things like power cords or socks, and it may have trouble navigating across surface transitions like hardwood to carpet.
iRobot recommends that you tidy the area around the i3+ EVO vacuums prior to using it. This includes getting rid of any toys or other clutter it might encounter. Also, keep the dustbin and filters free of dirt to prevent them from becoming clogged. If the i3+ EVO's internal bin is full or its battery is empty it goes back to its docking station, automatically empties its dirt into the station's external dustbin and then resumes cleaning where it began. The i3+ EVO's battery can last for about an hour and a half continuous use, and takes around three hours to recharge.
2. IRobot Roomba i7+
The iRobot Roomba i7+ is the most powerful model of the flagship line from iRobot and has the most up-to-date features. It is self-charging and self-navigating. However, the most significant feature is its self-emptying bin. This removes the need for routine maintenance.
The Roomba I7+ is able to map rooms more efficiently with Imprint Smart Mapping. It also works with iRobot Home to schedule cleaning tasks, and you can control your robot via the app or by voice.
In our tests, the i7+ was faster and more maneuverable than our top choice which was the eufy RoboVac G30, and it removed large chunks of pet hair from all surfaces kinds including carpeting. Its main advantage over the eufy, though it self-empties its dust bin, which removes a major source of maintenance and cuts down on the amount of time spent cleaning.
We were also impressed by the i7+'s compatibility with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant AI services which we used to instruct the robot to begin, stop or pause its cleaning session and to move around the room and vacuum a specific space. The iRobot Home App made it easy to connect the i7+ to these services. Once connected, to speak commands to the i7+, for example "Hey Alexa vacuum the master bedroom." The iRobot Home app also provides options to manage the i7+'s preferences and monitoring its performance.
3. Dyson Cyclone V10

4. iRobot Roomba 694

It's capable of sucking up a variety of kinds of debris in our tests, and it often passes over the same areas multiple times to ensure a thorough clean.
